Best Crepe Recipe
Source: Lauren’s Latest
Every time my husband and I go to brunch, I always order crepes
It’s kind of ridiculous really now looking back. Now that I own a crepe pan I’ve realized how easy they are to make, and how much better mine are most of the time
You don’t just find that at your nearest IHOP, and there are only 10 simple ingredients
It sounds like a lot, but most of them are just simple ingredients that you have laying around at home
You won’t want to miss out this combination!
Chocolate with Strawberries
Source: Finding Zest
Holy crepe! I studied abroad for a semester in France and… you guys. The crepes are unlike anything you’ve ever had before
Thin, delicate, buttery and delicious, they are a bakery and breakfast lovers dream come true. Nothing has ever matched the crepes I had while studying abroad, but these come the closest
This tutorial makes it easy to get the right thickness, consistency, and taste own for the base of the crepes and then you can customize them with things like fresh fruit, Nutella, whipped cream, even ice cream if your heart desires
And they are a healthy base too so you can eat crepes while dieting
Bring a piece of Paris right to your table!
Easy Pancake Mix Crepes
Source: Cooking With Karli
As a mom, there are times where I need a crepe, and I don’t have time to Betty Crocker that… stuff in my kitchen
I mean, let’s face it. We all get busy. I use this pancake mix recipe in those moments and honestly, the taste isn’t compromised at ALL, I’m just that type A gal and always get down on myself when I use boxed recipes
This is as easy as pancake mix, an egg, vanilla, and milk. Yep, that’s it!
Apple Pie Dessert Crepes
Source: Tidy Mom
I’d like to formally Apple-ogize for posting your newest fall breakfast addiction
These apple crepes are hardCORE. These thin and buttery crepes are filled to perfection with caramel apple preserved fruit and toasted cinnamon pecans
They are sweet, a little salty and classically crepe
You will be FALLing for these this cozy autumn season!
Strawberries and Cream
Source: Cafe Delites
Is there anything better than a creamsicle?
I kind of forgot how amazingly delicious these frozen treats actually are until I had kids and started buying them again. The only thing better than those?
These strawberries and cream crepes!
Orange liqueur with strawberries makes them so syrupy and extra special… and combining them with cream?
I think I’ve died and gone to creamsicle heaven
Lemon Crepes

Spring is in the air and I’m back on the lemon obsession train, choo choo!
Okay let’s be real, did I ever get off?
There is something so fresh and refreshing about lemon. Lemon smells, lemon water, lemonade, and my personal favorite: these homemade lemon crepes
These beauties are made with a zesty mascarpone-cottage cheese filling and then they are topped with a homemade lemon curd for a sweet taste of citrus in every bite
Spring is here and I’m so excited I almost wet my PLANTS!
Banana Split Crepes
Source: About A Mom
I am absolutely bananas over this recipe
If you have been following my posts for a while then you know I love Mcdonald’s ice cream. When the machine is down, I throw a fit right next to my three year old who is also throwing a fit
This is an extremely more delicious, fluffy, and sweet version of the classic banana split sundae that you find at McDonald’s
Thin and airy crepes with a sweet cream filling, flavorful bananas, and rich chocolate… Could it get any better than that?
If you’re a banana gal or guy this will be very aPEELing to you!
Chocolate Crêpe Cake with Bourbon
Source: Champagne Tastes
Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, give me a crepe cake on my birthday morning, or I will divorce thee!
Okay but seriously though, I’ve never seen anything like this chocolate crepe cake
It’s stacks and stacks of crepes, but better. To create this deliciously sweet french cake, you would use an electric hand mixer to beat some heavy whipping cream, sugar, and some bourbon together into a whipped cream
Then you just add 2 tablespoons of whipped cream on top of a crepe, top with another crepe, and repeat until you have a stack of 20
I’ve tried a lot of hand mixers throughout my years, and for the last 4 years I’ve been using a Kitchenaid brand mixer, which is surprisingly only about 20 dollars more expensive than the Hamilton brand which I so desperately needed to upgrade from
Plus, my mixer is a pastel blue color and it just looks, feels, and mixes better
If you’re looking for a way to surprise a loved one on their birthday morning, this birthday crepe is the way to go ?
Nutella Crepes
Source: Homemade Interest
Okay you guys… this recipe is so good that I thought about keeping it a secret and nut-telling you
The only thing better than Nutella is this Nuts N More protein dark spread that I purchased at Trader Joes
I’ll be honest, this is better than Nutella. It’s sweeter, and richer because of the 75% dark chocolate factor and peanut butter. Plus, it’s a lot better for you too and has 75% more protein than usual peanut butters or spreads, and they sell like wildfire
Nut’s & More: Dark Chocolate Peanut Spread on Amazon
I go and buy two or three jars at a time because they are almost always out of stock
These crepes are TOO easy to make, and they might create havoc on your waistline from the number of times you will make them, and the amount you will eat when you do
They are made from a simple batter of flour, eggs, milk, water, and melted butter. For the filling, all you need is fresh strawberries, bananas, and she uses Nutella hazelnut spread but I used Nuts N more
These are the perfect classic crepe, and they are such a go-to due to the number of ingredients needed and the easy preparation
Plus, if you have extra nuts N More you can just eat it with a spoon like I do, or use it on almost anything else
I can Nutella how thankful I am that I stumbled into this recipe!
Red Velvet Crepes
Source: Tastes of Lizzy T
Nothing says I love you like red velvet ❤️
Whether you’re looking for something sweet and special to surprise your number one on valentine’s day this year, or just want a good breakfast to help say I love you, this is definitely the one
These red velvet crepes are royally red looking, and the taste backs up the gorgeous aesthetics. Crepes filled with chocolate whipped cream and strawberries… Does it get ANY more romantic than that?
They are decadent and sweet from the fluffy red velvet base and strawberries and rich from the chocolate whipped cream drizzled on top
This will definitely let someone know you love the crepe out of them this year!
Gluten-Free French Crêpes
Source: Prepare & Nourish
My nephew has severe gluten (along with many other) allergies, and I always try to find recipe’s he can eat that are up to par with the other deliciousness making the list
When talking to my sister about crepes, she explained cassava flour to me. Cassava flour is gaining momentum as the ultimate “grain-free” flour and for good reason. It’s a great substitution to wheat flour, in both texture and flavor, and most recipes turn out essentially the exact same
You wouldn’t even know these crepes are gluten-free. With only 7 household ingredients you will have the same light, airy, fluffy and thin crepes that you love and adore so much, only they will be gluten-free
You can customize them how you want whether that’s stuffing them with fresh fruit or eggs and spinach, and start your morning off right!
Boston Cream Pie
Source: The Girl Inspired
So I crepe, yeaaaaah. Just crepen on the dessert-low
I mean can you even call these crepes at this point?
These Boston Creme crepes are just flat out delectable and dessert-like. Each thin and fluffy crepe is filled with a sweet thick homemade Boston Cream and drizzled with hot fudge sauce
I’ll be honest, this is our go to brunch crepe because I love to go out and get Sunday donuts for my kids but everyone can agree to settle on these because they are better than donuts or anything else really
They are easy to make, just as good as dessert, and Boston Cream sweet, what more could you possibly ask for in a crepe?
Homemade Pumpkin Crepes
Source: Simplistically Living
Let’s give em pumpkin’ to talk about!
Well, the conversation will be never ending with these homemade pumpkin crepes. This is the crepe of this fall, I guarantee it
These fluffy and light crepes are filled with a homemade pumpkin filling, which is made from cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and canned pumpkin
It reminds me of a mousse, but better. Your taste buds will be in pumpkin heaven, and your entire house will smell like fall
I found that the pumpkin whipped cream also goes well as a dip for graham crackers, that is if you have any left over to spare
These are fa-boo-lous!
Custard Filled with Blueberry Sauce
Source: Valentinas Corner
Do you like cream or custard filling better?
I don’t pick favorites, but I definitely feel like there’s a time and a place for both
Well if you didn’t believe in fate before you will now because this is the right time and the right place for sweet and savory custard filling
This is one of my all-time favorite crepe recipes. The base of the crepes are sweet, airy, and extra fluffy and each one is filled with an easy custard filling and topped with a quick fresh blueberry sauce and then topped with more blueberries
I will say that these taste a lot more like dessert and a lot less like breakfast, but isn’t that what we are going for when we cook crepes in the morning?
Increpeable!
Creme Bruleé Crepe Cake
Source: The Baker Chick
I can’t get enough of crepe cakes. I think the reason I experiment with so many different versions of little breakfast cakes is because each one is unique… every single cake turns out sweet and delicious, and I love the idea of a breakfast cake in general
This creme brulee cake is pretty to look at, fun to make, and absolutely morning making to eat. It melts in your mouth, isn’t too sweet but still is so light and airy
Plus, the pastry cream/whipped cream filling between the crepe layers is unbelievably yummy
I can’t describe to you the beautiful French invention that is the crepe cake, but I can tell you that it is worth the make, and ASAP
